Difference between Fulfillment by Seller vs Fulfillment by TikTok

Fulfillment on TikTok Shop refers to the process of managing the storage, packaging, and shipping of products to customers after they make a purchase.

1. Fulfillment by Seller:

The seller is responsible for packing and shipping the orders directly to customers. This method gives sellers full control over the fulfillment process, including shipping times and packaging.

This option enables you to synchronize and fulfill orders directly from Shopify.

This option allows you to sync TikTok orders to Shopify for Fulfillment.

2. Fulfillment by TikTok:

Fulfillment by TikTok is a service where TikTok or its logistics partners handle the storage, packaging, and shipping of products on behalf of the seller. Sellers send their inventory to TikTok's fulfillment centers and the package will then be assigned to the carrier by the TikTok Shop.

This option doesn't allow you to synchronize and fulfill orders directly from Shopify.

This option will not sync TikTok orders to Shopify for Fulfillment.

**Please Note: **You must assign a shipping template to your warehouse and remember to use seller shipping. If you don't assign a shipping template to your warehouse, it will switch to TikTok shipping and block the buyer's information.If you enable the Shipping by Seller option, you can only use the shipping providers mentioned in the Shipping from Seller section.Any adjustments you make to the shipping or delivery options will solely impact future orders; your current orders will remain unchanged.
